Letter from the UK - Northamptonshire and austerity

Northants ACRE had a visit the other day from Sam Knight who writes for the New Yorker. Sam is based in London but writes for the New Yorker on all things to do with Britain. He was interested to hear how the difficulties with the County Council has affected the lives of people in the county and especially the rural areas. We took him to Creaton to see their new community shop and to Moulton to hear about their work with the library and Good Neighbour Scheme. Here's his article. It's a very good read and summary of the impact of the austerity cuts on the county.
